Ditch the dealer
You have a choice without a catch!
In 2002, European Parliament decided that manufacturers forcing car owners to use main dealers for service in order to uphold warranty was unfair. After all if you had bought a brand new Redrow house, you wouldn’t be too happy if you were forced to use Redrow decorator every time you put up some wallpaper! You have a choice without affecting your warranty and the resale value of your vehicle.
This law is known as ‘Block Exemption’ and it means that all manufacturers must ensure that service information and scheduling is available to all garages. It allows car owners to make a choice where they have their vehicle serviced.
This law was renewed in 2010 so you can now have your car serviced and maintained by Motor Marque even when it is within its’ warranty period. When a car is serviced using the proper schedules and original specification parts by our trained and highly skilled staff, you can rest assured your warranty is upheld and the resale value of your vehicle is maintained. Not only that but our stamp in the service book is a guarantee of a job done well.
Having a newer car serviced outside that main dealer network can be a leap of faith, after all your car is probably your second biggest investment and you want to look after it.
Don’t just take our word for it…
“This was the first time that I have booked my car in for MOT and service and not used the main dealer. I was impressed with the polite staff and with the professional image projected by the premises. Historically I have paid large amounts to run this car, but Motor Marque were less expensive and kept me informed of the car’s progress, unlike the main dealer who kept it for 3 days last year! Upon collection I received a comprehensive breakdown of what they had done and the car is now running like a dream.
They have also valeted and washed my car and returned the keys on a Motor Marque keyring and placed branded paper covers in the footwells. I appreciate touches like this and they further enhanced what was an already pleasurable experience for me. As I left I passed a young mechanic who greeted me with a smile and thanked me. It is gratifying to get great service like this, especially at a local independent business such as this one. I would not hesitate to recommend them and return next year.”
